In short
Use MetaGrad for your own learning, respect the people and content here, and do not copy or share our paid material. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of metagrad.net and the workshops, courses and other services offered by MetaGrad Academia (“MetaGrad”, “we”, “us”). By registering for a workshop, creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
Eligibility and your account
- You must be 16 or older, or use MetaGrad with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian.
- Give accurate and current information when you register or create an account.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Your account is for you alone. Sharing logins or using one account from several people is not allowed, and we may limit simultaneous sessions.
Workshops, courses and batches
We offer live workshops and courses. Paid courses run as batches with a start date and a limited number of seats. A seat is confirmed once your registration is accepted or your payment is verified, whichever applies. Joining links and access details are sent to the email address you provide.
We may change the schedule, instructor, format or content of a session or batch where needed. If we do, we will tell you, and our Refund Policy explains your options if a batch is cancelled or rescheduled. Access to recorded material lasts for the period stated on the course page.
Payments
- Prices are shown on the course page and apply at the time you order.
- We accept the payment methods offered at checkout. At present this is offline payment, such as a bank or UPI transfer, and your order stays on hold until we confirm the payment.
- Course access opens only after your payment is confirmed and the order is marked completed.
- Taxes, where they apply, are shown or included in the price.
- We may correct pricing mistakes and will give you the choice to proceed at the right price or cancel the order.
Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Content and licence
All course material, including videos, slides, notes, quizzes, code and other content, is owned by MetaGrad or its licensors and is protected by law. When you enrol, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the material for your own learning only.
Recording and sharing
To protect our instructors and fellow learners, you agree not to:
- record, screenshot, stream or capture live sessions in any form;
- copy, download, resell, publish or share course material, recordings or joining links;
- share your login or give others access to paid content.
If we find a breach, we may suspend or end your access without a refund and take further action where the law allows.
Code of conduct
- Treat instructors and other learners with respect. Harassment, hate speech and abuse are not tolerated.
- Do not post spam, advertise or promote unrelated products in sessions, chats or communities.
- Do not impersonate others, cheat in assessments, or misrepresent your identity or credentials.
- Do not try to break, scan or disrupt the site, or access data that is not yours.
- Follow the instructions of the host during live sessions.
Intellectual property and your contributions
The MetaGrad Academia name, logo and branding belong to us and may not be used without written permission. You keep ownership of questions, projects and other content you submit. By submitting them, you allow us to use them to run, moderate and improve our programmes.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
- Our programmes are for education. We do not guarantee any particular job, income or result.
- The site and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, and we do not promise they will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We are not responsible for third-party tools or links, such as video-conferencing or messaging apps, that you use alongside our services.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the course or batch the claim relates to, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, put others or the platform at risk, or where the law requires it. You may stop using MetaGrad and ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@metagrad.net.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you. Continuing to use MetaGrad after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of competent jurisdiction in India, after we have first tried to resolve it informally with you.
